Meet the face
behind the magic

My name is Andreia Gabriela Popescu.

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, on 04.08.1973 and I am designing, manufacturing and teaching contemporary jewellery since 2010.

At first, my interest in jewellery came as an addition to my palette of concerns, being constantly drawn to art and creation, but has evolved into a career change. I create contemporary jewellery unique and limited series, and also costume products. Made from gold, silver, gems, and semiprecious natural stones next to unconventional materials, my collections are strongly linked to the inspiration of the moment and come from everywhere around me: forms, sensations, and feelings.

My jewellery always starts from a concept, I like to build on

the story behind them. Contemporary jewellery means for me applied art! I create all kinds of jewellery for men and women, but most of all I love to create rings. Rings represent me as a means of communication and of highlighting important matters. A special ring makes you feel good, but it can also be the business card of your personality. My jewellery stands out through daring volumes and new finishes on the surfaces.

Their apparent difficult wearability proves to be complex and atypical.
